Harp stores

Sometimes you can purchase double-strung harp music directly from the composer. If you’re looking for more music, accessories, strings, or actual harps, try these stores.

  • Sylvia Woods Harp Center➚: Sylvia Woods has been instrumental in making the folk harp popular and respected. Her Harp Center has a great selection of sheet music written and arranged by herself and others, harp-related gifts, and of course harps. The sheet music is easy to browse and has sample pages and some audio samples. Sheet music is available in hard copy and PDF. Of all the harp stores, Harp Center is most likely to have users leave reviews of the products. If you need to contact them, Sylvia Woods answers personally.

  • Melody’s Traditional Music & Harp Shoppe➚: Very extensive collection of sheet music, CDs, strings, accessories, harps, and other folk instruments. Great descriptions of pieces, with difficulty ranking and sample pages to view and some audio samples. Easy to browse. Sheet music is available in hard copy and PDF. Located near Houston, TX. Extremely responsive in shipping. Super nice people. I can’t say enough about them.

  • Harp Column Music➚: Tons of music, available in hard copy and PDF. Well categorized and easy to browse. Some reviews. Sample pages and audio samples.

  • The Harp Connection➚: Wide selection of harps, music, strings, and accessories. Used harps and rental harps available. It looks like the sheet music is only available in hard copy. Searching for music presumes that you know the title or composer, so it is a bit difficult to just browse. Located in eastern Massachusetts.

  • Virginia Harp Center➚: Wide selection of new and used harps, plus strings, accessories, and sheet music. Sheet music is available in hard copy and PDF. Includes difficulty levels and some categorization. I was delighted to have them sell my Triplett Eclipse on consignment when I donated it to the Music for Healing and Transition Program➚. Two locations: New Jersey and Virginia.

  • Harp.com➚: This is run by harp luthiers Lyon & Healy and Salvi. Harps, strings, parts, accessories, sheet music, CDs. Well categorized sheet music makes it easy and fun to filter. Music includes difficulty level. Some sample pages. Sheet music is available in hard copy and PDF.

  • Atlanta Harp Center➚: Harps, strings, accessories, and music. Sheet music has some categorization and is available in hard copy and PDF. Sample pages and some audio/video samples.
